My name is Derek, I was born and raised in South Florida. I graduated with a B.A. in Technical Writing in New Mass Media from the University of South Florida in 2011. I was a professional wakeboarder in my late teens/early twenties and after many experiences in divergent industries I stand before you (digitally) with a unique bag of skills and robust work ethic. This website was created to give employers and clients an in depth and up to date look at my work and life. I have spent my whole life working towards a goal of some sort from being a professional athlete, to acquiring my current academic level, and now gaining experience as a successful professional in my community. I believe in networking and helping others achieve their goals with any of my applicable skills or connections. Someone that I help now may help me in the future.
